We'll take the chicken.

Steam boat in malaysia

While in Malaysia Tash and I heard that we "had to try steam boat"! A little confused we were recomended a place that served the best steamboat in town. The menue looked like this:

Soup option: Chicken, tomyam, or chicken tomyam.
Followed by a long list of meat, fish, noodles, and vegetables.
Tash and I said to the waiter, "we'll take the chicken broth with the chicken and vegetables". He stared at us and laughed. "You get it all" he said. So before we knew it there was a giant hot bowl of chicken broth on our table and an array of raw meets, uncooked vegetables, raw eggs, raw fish, and uncooked pasta.

Tash and I had no idea what to do. So 5 minutes later when the waiter walked by again and noticed that we hadnt moved a muscle, he offered assistance. Taking the lid off the pot he pointed to the meat and the soup. before we knew it Tash and I were pros creating delicious soups and ladeling it into our own individual bowls.
